How the label maker works

The preview above is the same design as the printed labels: a teal side strip, name and notes on top, then total (mg), water (mL), concentration (mg/mL) and the date mixed, with the U-100 syringe size and a discard date along the bottom. Leave the concentration to the maker: it divides the vial total by the water you added, so 10 mg in 2 mL shows 5 mg/mL. It is arithmetic only and never suggests an amount to draw.

The free preview shows one label so you can check the layout and wording. Printing is part of the full label maker, which comes with the Vial Label Pack or the Bundle. After checkout your download page has a Make your labels online button.

Printing tips

In the print dialog set scale to 100% / Actual size and margins to None, and turn off headers and footers. Do a test on plain paper first and hold it behind a label sheet against a window. Laser printers take Avery 5160 and inkjets take 8160; the layout is identical. If labels drift by the same amount on every row, your printer is adding its own margin, so check the margin setting again rather than scaling.

Prefer pen and paper? The vial label template sheets print blank too, to fill in by hand.
