How do I convert mcg to mL?

mL = mcg ÷ concentration in mcg/mL. With 5 mg in 2 mL (2,500 mcg/mL), 250 mcg = 0.1 mL, which is 10 units on a U-100 syringe. Concentration in mcg/mL = vial mg × 1000 ÷ water mL.

The math

concentration (mcg/mL) = vial mg × 1000 ÷ water mL
volume (mL) = amount mcg ÷ concentration (mcg/mL)
Example: 250 ÷ 2500 = 0.1 mL = 10 U-100 units
